Latte Art Throwdown
The Latte Art Throwdown at Porto Coffee Week 2026 is a battle of talent and precision, dedicated to baristas who master the art of drawing with coffee. With 16 participants competing head-to-head in a direct elimination format, this championship challenges the consistency, creativity, and coolness of the country's best latte artists.
Over four intense rounds, the competitors will have to replicate randomized patterns from the Coffee Week deck of cards, using only a vaporized vegetable drink and espresso. The coffees will be brewed by baristas from the organization and the designs will be presented directly to the judges’ table – with no room for errors or adjustments.
Even if you don't attend, join the audience to cheer for your favorite baristas during one of the most exciting moments of Porto Coffee Week.
