The Coffee Market will take place in the Bolhão Market from 8th to 10th October.

For 6 days Porto is going to smell of coffee.

From Monday to Wednesday you will be able to find Porto Coffee Week events scattered across the city, meaning there are workshops taking place in coffee shops, restaurants and schools around town.

And between Thursday and Saturday, the biggest national coffee festival takes you to Coffee Market, the largest coffee market, where you can sample unlimited coffees, watch championships, learn how to make the perfect latte art, buy coffee and equipment with unique discounts, and much more.

Porto Coffee Week was designed not only for coffee professionals – producers, importers, entrepreneurs, roasters and baristas – but also for the end consumer, with talks and competitions for all levels of coffee knowledge.

A coffee festival for everyone.

Porto Coffee Week features international speakers and attendees from all over the world, so this year Porto Coffee Week will take place predominantly in English.

However, some speakers may not be comfortable, so some talks and workshops will be given in Portuguese.

At every event we will always have staff are available to help you translate if you have language difficulties and want to take part.

So check the language you'll be guided in at each event and, if you have any questions, get in touch with us.

By purchasing tickets for Porto Coffee Week you accept being photographed and filmed within the scope of the events, as well as allowing us to use your image for future promotion of the event.

Photographs and videos taken by visitors

As you understand, we want to protect the integrity of the festival, our speakers and exhibitors. Therefore, if you intend to photograph or film parts of the event, we ask that you exercise common sense and abide by some basic rules.

Although you can photograph or film during Porto Coffee Week for personal use, you cannot sell any photos or videos of the festival. Please respect the privacy of other attendees who may not want to be filmed or photographed.

Photography, recorded video and audio and children

The safety of children is very important to us, so images or voices of children used online will not identify the child unless we have permission from the child's carers to do so.

The Coffee Market is completely accessible to people with reduced mobility and wheelchairs, however we can't guarantee access to all the workshops for people with reduced mobility, as the various spaces where they will take place may not be accessible. So if you need assistance, please contact us.

This year's Coffee Market will have exhibitors from all areas of coffee, from speciality coffee micro-roasters to professional espresso equipment.

See all the exhibitors here.

All roasters will have espresso or filter coffee and coffee drinks with plant-based milk (cappuccinos, flat whites or similar) available. In addition, you can find teas, including matcha, hot chocolates and more.

Try as many coffees as you like, you can repeat the roasts and try all the coffees available.

Sure! Above all, Porto Coffee Week is a community event.

All Roasters will be able to make plant-based babyccinos for the kids and we'll have a little corner for the little ones!
