Porto Coffee Week is the biggest coffee festival in Portugal.
It is 6 days dedicated to coffee and, above all, to celebrating coffee culture. The events range from workshops to parties, championships, talks and culminate in the largest Coffee Market in Portugal.
In its fifth edition, Porto Coffee Week is launching the Coffee Market at the Mercado do Bolhão – the meeting point for coffee lovers and professionals featuring workshops, more coffee tastings, championships and much more!
Coffee Week returns to Porto for its fifth edition with 6 weekdays dedicated to culture, professionals and everyone who lives and breathes coffee with passion.
This is a festival organised by Tasteology – the team behind the Lisbon Coffee Week, the subscription that brings the best Portuguese coffee to your home and much more.
Tasteology was born in 2022 out of a passion for coffee and community.
In 2022, in the aftermath of the pandemic, we created the first national festival dedicated to speciality coffee with the aim of making Porto smell like coffee. From the success of the first edition, we then grew into the first Coffee Market in 2023, during the second edition of Porto Coffee Week. The second edition of Portugal's biggest coffee festival had over 1000 participants, 20 talks, 3 championships and 10 workshops over 7 unmissable days.
Since then, we have taken the smell of coffee to Lisbon and we embraced the capital's community to showcase the very best of what is done in the world of coffee in Portugal, organised the SCA Barista, SCA Cup Tasters and SCA Brewers Cup championships, the best Portuguese roaster awards and much more.
2026 brought the first Coffee Market to Lisbon, which was attended by over 4,000 people – a completely sold-out edition. And now, we have the honour not only of returning to our first city, but also of holding the Coffee Market in the iconic Mercado do Bolhão.
Meet the team from the country's biggest coffee festival.
