\u00a0<\/p>

1. OBJECT AND SCOPE<\/h3>

These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets, products and services relating to Porto Coffee Week, an event organised by Tasteology \u2013 Creative Studio, Lda., made through:<\/p>

From the event's official website, portocoffeeweek.pt;<\/p>

Institutional website of www.tasteology.pt;<\/p>

From associated external ticketing platforms (unless specific conditions are imposed by those entities);<\/p>

From face-to-face sales at events, exhibitions or at the Tasteology headquarters.<\/p>

2. PRICES AND PAYMENTS<\/h3>

Prices: All stated values include VAT at the current statutory rate.<\/p>

Payment Methods: We accept payments via Stripe (credit card), PayPal, Ifthenpay (Multibanco\/MB Way) or bank transfer. In the case of direct payments via MB Way or bank transfer, the order or reservation will only be processed upon receipt of the proof of payment or confirmation of receipt of funds.<\/p>

3. DELIVERING AND POSTAGE (WHEN APPLICABLE)<\/h3>

Applies only to physical products purchased together with tickets (e.g. merchandise, coffee).<\/p>

Shipping Cost: The base shipping cost for Mainland Portugal is \u20ac6 (VAT included), subject to change by the courier companies.<\/p>

Free Delivery: We offer shipping to Mainland Portugal on purchases over \u20ac200.<\/p>

Delivery: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery details are correct. If you choose a Pick-up Point, your identification details will be shared with the local partner solely for the purpose of verifying the delivery.<\/p>

3.1. DELIVERY FAILURE AND BUYER NEGLIGENCE<\/h4>

The accuracy of the delivery data is the sole responsibility of the User. If delivery cannot be completed due to an error in the address, the absence of a letterbox or failure to collect from a collection point within the stipulated timeframe:<\/p>

Contact Attempt: Tasteology will make every effort to contact the customer via email to rectify the details.<\/p>

Resolution Deadline: If, after 10 consecutive days from the first contact attempt, the customer does not respond or fails to provide correct details, Tasteology reserves the right to:<\/p>

Cancel the order, without guaranteeing the reservation or availability of the product in question for future requests.<\/p>

Resell the item (in the case of equipment or accessories) to free up stock.<\/p>

Perishables (Coffee): In the case of coffee (whole bean or ground), as it is a food product with guaranteed freshness, the inability to deliver due to customer fault does not entitle the customer to a refund, since the product may deteriorate or lose its commercial shelf life during the retention period.<\/p>

Resend: Any new delivery attempt after the goods are returned to our headquarters will be considered a new service provision, with transport costs being entirely the customer's responsibility, regardless of the value of the original order.<\/p>

4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS<\/h3>

In accordance with Decree-Law no. 24\/2014, we distinguish the following return conditions:<\/p>

A. NON-PERISHABLE GOODS (EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES)<\/h4>

The consumer has the right to return the product within a period of 14 consecutive days after receipt.<\/p>

Conditions: The product must be in brand new condition, in its original undamaged packaging, with all manuals and accessories.<\/p>

Return Costs: The customer is solely responsible for, and must bear the cost of, transporting the product to our head office.<\/p>

Exchanges: You may exchange an item for another, subject to payment of the price difference (if applicable) and any new delivery charges.<\/p>

B. COFFEE AND FOOD PRODUCTS (PERISHABLE\/SEALED GOODS)<\/h4>

For health and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges of coffee packets that have been opened or where the seal has been broken. The right to cancel the purchase ceases as soon as the packet is opened.<\/p>

5. TICKETS, WORKSHOPS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS (FIXED DATES)<\/h3>

Activities with a specific date or execution period (Article 17 of Decree-Law No 24\/2014):<\/p>

Coffee Market and General Access Tickets: Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable.<\/p>

Workshops and Championships (including the Aeropress Portugal Championship): Refunds are only issued if Tasteology manages to resell the space to another participant.<\/p>

Team-building activities and catering services associated with the event: These require a deposit of 30% of the total amount, which is non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 5 working days before the event date will incur a charge of 100% of the total amount. Postponements retain the 30% as a deposit for rescheduling within 6 months; if notice is given less than 5 working days in advance, the full amount is due.<\/p>

6. COFFEE SUBSCRIPTIONS<\/h3>

The customer can suspend the subscription or change delivery details in their account.<\/p>

To cancel permanently, the customer must cancel their subscription or contact us via co****<\/span>@********<\/span>e.g.<\/span> up to 5 days before the next billing date. Payments already processed will not be refunded.<\/p>

7. GUARANTEE<\/h3>

End Consumer (B2C): 3 years against manufacturing defects.<\/p>

Business-to-Business (B2B): 1 year under the Civil Code.<\/p>

The warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, lack of cleaning or limescale build-up.<\/p>

8. IMAGE RIGHTS<\/h3>

8.1. Photography and Filming by the Organisers<\/h4>

Our photographers will be clearly identified, as will any members of the press who may attend the event.<\/p>

By purchasing tickets for Porto Coffee Week, you accept being photographed and filmed as part of the event's activities, and you also permit Tasteology to use your image for the purpose of future promotion of the event, in any medium and format (including website, social media, promotional materials and press).<\/p>

8.2. Photographs and videos taken by visitors<\/h4>

We understand that you want to keep memories of the event. At the same time, we aim to protect the integrity of the festival, our speakers and exhibitors. Therefore, if you intend to photograph or film parts of the event, we ask that you use common sense and comply with the following basic rules:<\/p>

You may photograph or film during Porto Coffee Week for personal use.<\/p>

The sale of any photographs or videos captured during the festival is not permitted.<\/p>

We ask that you respect the privacy of the other participants, who may not wish to be filmed or photographed.<\/p>

8.3. Photography, Video and Audio of Children<\/h3>

Child safety is a priority for Tasteology. Images or voice recordings of children will not be used online in an identifiable manner unless we have previously obtained the express authorisation of their legal guardians.<\/p>

9. AEROPRESS PORTUGAL CHAMPIONSHIP \u2014 COMPETITION RULES<\/h3>

Registration for and participation in the Aeropress Portugal Championship, organised by Tasteology as part of Porto Coffee Week, implies full acceptance of the following rules, which are aligned with the international rules of the World AeroPress Championship.<\/p>

9.1. Eligibility for Regional and National Competitions<\/h4>

Anyone, of any age, can compete.<\/p>

Participants must be citizens or residents of Portugal.<\/p>

People in management or leadership positions within the organising entity cannot compete in the event they organise.<\/p>

Anyone holding a shareholding in a host organisation of an AeroPress championship cannot compete in any regional or national leg of the season in which that organisation is the host.<\/p>

Employees, contractors or freelancers directly involved in the organisation of the event are also not eligible.<\/p>

9.2. World Final Eligibility<\/h4>

If the National Champion is unable to travel or obtain a visa, the runner-up will take their place.<\/p>

If 2nd place cannot go, the place goes to 3rd place.<\/p>

Eligibility does not extend beyond 3rd place, nor can it be transferred.<\/p>

This place cannot be carried over to future editions.<\/p>

9.3. Winner Unable to Travel<\/h4>

If the 1st, 2nd and 3rd-placed teams are unable to attend the World Final, the Host must award a consolation prize to the National Champion.<\/p>

This allowance must be equivalent to at least 50% of the estimated travel costs, for example: Accommodation (3 nights \u00d7 200$) = 600$ Flights (return) = 3,000$ Estimated total = 3,600$ Cash bonus (50%) = 1,800$<\/p>

The prize value must be validated and approved by the World AeroPress Championship.<\/p>

The prize must be paid in cash or by bank transfer within 7 days of approval.<\/p>

This award is only a last resort. National Champions are expected to participate, and Hosts must ensure this participation.<\/p>

9.4. Complaints and Disputes Procedure<\/h4>

Any complaints or disputes in Regional or National competitions must be directed to the event Host (Tasteology).<\/p>

If it is not resolved, or if the complaint relates to the World Final, a clear and concise explanation must be sent to the official World AeroPress Championship contact.<\/p>

Complaints made via social media or direct messages will not be considered.<\/p>

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION<\/h3>

In the event of a dispute, the consumer may contact CICAP \u2013 Centro de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o de Consumo e Arbitragem do Porto (Consumer Information and Arbitration Centre of Porto).
