Co-Founder of the new bean-to-bar chocolate brand in Porto, Marcella Cavalcanti has a background in consumer experience and innovation. But it was from a long passion for chocolates that she began to explore the world of speciality chocolate. With that GLAD was born, in search of presenting the consumer with the true flavour of cocoa. The bean-to-bar chocolate production method focuses on the different origins of cocoa and their influences on the flavour of each. As well as the influence that the cultivation, fermentation and roasting of the cocoa grades can have on the final flavour of the chocolate.
