Célia Rocha has a PhD in Food Consumption and Nutrition Sciences, specialising in Sensory Analysis. At Sense Test since 2012, she is currently responsible for the R&D department. Throughout her career at Sense Test, she has been training different panels of specialised tasters for different product categories, including coffee. She also works with expedited methodologies for assessing consumer perception of food and non-food products, working with different segments and types of consumers, human or pet. She has also developed methods for measuring product emotions. She is a guest lecturer at the University of Porto and at Universidade Aberta, supporting the teaching of sensory analysis and new product development.
